Terrorize - It's Just A Feeling - 09-Jul-08 10:18 AM
Track A1 is a surprisingly banging and very uplifting house remix of this track! Some excellent synth lines, far different from the released version of this, combined with a typical house beat of the 1992/93 era.
A2 is the orginal mix, so it does not need much description. A severely banging tune in its own right!
B1 is very different. More in an early trance vein. It has much added piano, completely re-worked synth lines, and is incredibly driving. A lot of arpeggiation of the themes from the original mix, combined with some 303 acidic goodness. Definitely as uplifting as the other two mixes, with a quite epic quality. This mix definitely would have fit into one of John Kelley's "Funky Desert Breaks" mix sets, I think!
All in all, an incredible record, as all 3 mixes are amazing! Good luck in your search!!!
Carl Cox - F.A.C.T. - 05-Jun-07 03:25 AM
I only have the second disc of this set, but I have to say that it is absolutely sublime. First of all, this is no pro-tools folly-- this sounds exactly like it was mixed how it should be, live on Technics 1200s. And is it mixed! A definite highlight is where Cox mixes DJ Hell's "Like This" intermittently throughout 4 seperate tracks... The entire disc flows incredibly, and will drive your mind wild with the variance of styles, ebbing from techno, into trance, and back at ya with a few acid breaks. Carl Cox, we salute you!
Soul 'Amour - Alegria - 21-Dec-06 12:34 AM
Extremely good house track here with some very serious latin flava! Stick to the "Espanol" mix as the vocals sound much better.... The jazzy horns in this are absolutely phenomenal, coupled with a latinized bassline that will have you waving your hands in the air and kickin your feet in no time! Excellent track! Recommended for any connoisseur of New York latin house!
Slide vs. Healey

Hellpass - Wicked Behaviour - 14-Sep-06 09:22 AM
Absolutely scorching prog house floor filler with some severely pounding, rolling bass. Technical prowess is definitely displayed as Slide v. Healy tweak, bleep, and electrify Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" vocals into pure dance floor devastation in the breakdown. An A+ cut for sure!
Various - Deep & Chilled Euphoria - 16-Apr-06 08:16 AM
Incredible downtempo/ambient remixes of mid to late 1990s classic trance anthems. Although every track on this release is excellent, the included remixes of Greece 2000, Xstasia, and Miro's "By Your Side" are phenomenal and the remix of BBE's "Seven Days..." is absolutely spellbinding. This collection of spaced out, ethereal, hauntingly atmospheric tracks will drag your memory back in time as you step into the chill.
This comp, along with the "Chilled Euphoria" 2x12" (also on Telstar) are absolutely essential ambient gems.
Unfortunately, this record is nearly impossible to find.
